Name of the Game GOOD WITCH, BAD WITCH, SANDWICH
Stage TWO
Explanation
Refer to Appendix for diagram
Players stand in two parallel lines facing each other, 20 paces apart. The Witch stands in the centre, sandwiched. The players chant twice to the Witch, “Good Witch, Bad Witch, Sandwich!” If the Witch responds with “Good Witch” the players take a step backwards. If the Witch responds “Sandwich”, the players take one step forward. If the Witch responds “Bad Witch” the players try to run to the opposite side without being tagged by the Witch. Any players who are tagged become Witches and join the original Witch. Last player caught becomes the new Witch and the game is played again.
